Used this bike for a coastal trail ride near Cornwall. The wide tires offered excellent traction on sandy paths, and the suspension fork absorbed most of the bumps. Wore padded shorts and a breathable jersey; the upright riding position kept me from feeling cramped even after an hour’s ride. Assembled it myself using the included tools – took about 45 mins. Got the Trek Roscoe 6 for forest trail rides around the Peak District. The bike looks rugged but stylish – matte black finish hides dirt well! Took it through muddy sections and it held up nicely, though cleaning it after was a bit time-consuming. Felt stable at moderate speeds, good control with the wide handlebars. Ordered on Friday and arrived Monday morning. Overall happy with the performance, just takes getting used to the gear shifts.

Tested the Trek Roscoe 6 on a mixed-terrain ride from Sheffield to Rother Valley Country Park. The wide tyres gave great grip on both gravel and soft ground. Wearing casual joggers and a windbreaker, I felt comfortable throughout the 12-mile trip. The bike’s geometry made loading it onto my car easy, which is a plus for weekend getaways. Arrived fully assembled except for attaching the front wheel – super convenient. A little heavier than my old road bike, but that’s expected with an off-road build.

Ordered the Trek Roscoe 6 excitedly for some countryside cycling near Exeter, but had issues right from delivery. Took over a week to arrive despite promised 3-day shipping, and when it did, one brake cable was already frayed. The bike itself feels solid, decent handling on mild trails, but the saddle was uncomfortably stiff even after adjusting height. Returned it for a replacement, which worked better in the end, but initial experience was frustrating.
